Ice Trolls

Today we have been testing what material would keep the trolls from Antarctica cold when they come to visit.

First we chose 4 materials to test.

Then we made a prediction.

Next we tested our prediction. We made a fair test by making sure we tested each material for the same amount of time.

Finally we checked our predictions and wrote why it had kept it the coldest.

Challenging our learning

Some of us were challenged to make the number we were given on a tens and ones place value chart and then compare which was the larger number-ours or our friends.

Place Value Fun

We have been looking practically at place value and then comparing two numbers ready for the rest of the week. We are really good at tens and ones!

Planning a story.

This week we are using the Lighthouse Keepers Lunch to help us to write our own story. We have A Teacher's Lunch, A Policeman's Lunch and some Postmen!

Keep posted for our finished stories.
